Dr. Patricia Swinton is the Director of Urban Youth Planning at Wisdom 1st Financial Services, where she leads strategic initiatives that support youth financial literacy, savings, and student loan services. With over a decade of experience in education and program development, she brings a strong background in instructional leadership, policy analysis, and community outreach. In the public education sector, she has served as a Multiclassroom Leader and English educator; she has also held leadership positions in higher education administration. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education and has written extensively on education reform, learning technologies, and chronic absenteeism. Dr. Swinton is also a Senior Policy Fellow with Teach Plus Arkansas, where she advocates for equitable access and student support structures. Her work bridges education, financial empowerment, and youth development with a focus on building sustainable, community-centered programs.
